Winner predictions for top leagues and major international tournaments.

Main provisions:

  • The maximum number of points for a correctly predicted winner in each section is equal to the number of rounds in the respective championship.
  • For some tournaments with fewer rounds, multipliers may be used so that their weight in the overall standings is not too low. For example, coefficients such as x4, x3, or x2 may be applied.
  • You can change your prediction for each section until the winner is officially determined. After that, editing is closed.
  • If the prediction is changed during the tournament, the maximum possible bonus for a correct prediction is reduced accordingly and depends on how many scoring rounds were still available at the moment of the change.
  • A round is considered started from the moment the first match of that round kicks off, regardless of whether all matches in the round have been played.
  • In sections where multiple teams can be selected, changing one team only affects that team's possible points. Teams that were not changed keep their original possible points.
  • The "Possible Points" column shows the number of points you can win if your prediction is correct. The "Earned points" column displays the points already earned for the overall score.

Example:

  • The player correctly predicted the winner of the Premier League before the start of the season and never changed the prediction. In this case, up to 38 points can be added to the overall score.
  • The player changed the prediction 10 rounds before the end of the Premier League. In this case, the maximum possible number of points for a correct prediction is 10.

@Nik Chornyy The functionality works (and has worked) as it should, the problem is with the display of points. This has already been fixed on the website, and in the app it can only be fixed after updating the app. We are already working on a new version where this will be fixed.

I'm not good at this and wrote what I saw... After the change was made for one team, everyone else was initially scored two points and I thought I had made a mistake... But then everyone got three... and that's what I brought to your attention...
Та я в цьому не сильний і написав те, що побачив... Після внесеної зміни по одній команді усім іншим спочатку нарахувало по два бали і я подумав, що зробив дурницю... Але потім всплило всім по три... і на це звернув вашу увагу...

    @Patoche So, we are working on the ability to manage the set of matches, rules, list of participants, etc. in your tournaments.
    Regarding the possibility of inviting other project users to your tournaments - you can share a link/code to the tournament with users outside the project through any messenger, or through the website there is already an option to send an invite to another user directly on the project, in the Notifications section. Similar functionality will be added to the mobile apps in the next update.

    I wanted to suggest my scoring system, where you can still earn points even for an incorrect game outcome:
    Correct match result +2
    Correct goal difference (handicap) +1
    Correct total for the 1st team (number of goals scored) +1
    Correct total for the 2nd team (number of goals scored) +1
    Correct total goals in the match (sum of goals scored by both teams) +1

    Exact score - (ALL earned points are ADDED) +6
